Three cheers for GoogleVideo and YouTube! Every month when I publish my "Corvette Report" I share links to neat Corvette videos that I find on the net. So, every month after I publish "The Corvette Report" I will be updating this page.

Enjoy! - Scott

PS - If any of the below links do not work, please drop me an email. Also, if you have a Vette Video you'd like to share, let me know. To send an email, just click the busy guy below. Thanks!

A SMASHING 160 MPH Corvette Wreck This one is straight out of the "YOU IDIOT!!!" file.

C6.R Corvettes at Sebring This is an interesting behind the scenes look at the C6.R Corvette's "Mission Control" team.

Road & Track's '09 ZR1 Video Report The first is a short report from Road & Track Magazine about the '09 ZR1.

The Million Dollar '09 ZR1 The second video is about 10-minutes long and covers the auctioning off of the first marketable '09 ZR1 at the Barrett Jackson Auction last month.

One LOUD Corvette!!! And here the last video for this month and LOUDEST video I've ever heard. Before you play this one, turn your computer's speakers up ALL THE WAY UP. The video is only 45-seconds long, but the last 5 seconds WILL KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF! Really!!!

LS2 Corvette Engine Assembly Animation I was looking for images of the new supercharged LS9 engine used in the '09 ZR1 when I found this little gem of an animation. It is a technical animation that shows the assembly of all of the major components of the '05 - '07 LS2 Corvette engine. Very cool!

Corvette Commercials Through the Years No. 1 The first commercial is from 1963. Check out the surprised lovely lady when the Sting Ray "winks" at her. Very cute.

Corvette Commercials Through the Years No. 2 The second commercial is from 1965. The TV family western "BONANZA" was a huge hit on Sunday nights. NBC splashed the fact that the show was "In Living Color." In the beginning of the ad, they used the first few measures of the BONANZA them song. Actor Pernell Roberts played the brooding, thoughtful Adam Cartwright. Roberts drives a '65 Roadster onto the set of Bonanza, gets out, and tells you "Find out why they call it, Sting Ray."

Corvette Commercials Through the Years No. 3 The third commercial is from 2005 and it titled, "A Boy's Dream." There's no talking until the very end. The background music features Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones playing, "Jump'n Jack Flash" while kid and teachers are slack-jawed as the new C6 Corvette flies through the air, burns rubber, and does 4-wheel drifts with a 10-year old boy behind the wheel. Then the announcer says, "The all-new Corvette. The official car of your dreams." It's all a day dream of a boy holding his skate board and gawking at a new, red C6 Corvette. It's a "gas, gas, gas."

In Memory of Astoria-Chas Be sure to check out this short video clip of current owner Glen Spielberg driving the "KO-Motion" '67 Corvette into its display spot at a car show. The open headered L-88 is just a BEAST and sits in equal company. Although the engine runs, Glen has given the family his word that the car will remain as it was the last day it was raced and he promised he would never race or restore the car. Heck, the 10-inch slicks are over 35 years old!

Behind the Wheel With Zora Arkus-Duntov in a '61 Fuelie! According to Vette Magazine founder and first editor, Marty Schorr, Duntov LOVED taking people for rides in hot Corvettes and terrifying them! Talking the entire time about the engineering details of the car, while making the Vette dance like no one else could.

The link below will allow you to listen to a 33-1/3 rpm vinyl promotional recording of a ride with Duntov. Zora sounded suspiciously like Bella Lugosi. When he says, "Let's get in." You almost want to say outloud, "Buddy DON'T do it!"

ZR1 Prototype Caught on the Open Road This is an interesting little video that looks like it was made with a cell phone. Was this a setup by those wile Corvette product developers? But then again, they really do test preproduction cars on public highways. This could have been a Vette fan's lucky day!

Looking Out the Back of a C6.R To make this video the pit crew of the Compuware C6.R team strapped on a video camera to the rear bumper cover and blasted off a few laps. The camera was close to the open exhaust, so you're in for some delicious sounds.

To enjoy this Vette Video, CLICK HERE, then click big image of the back of the C6.R. SPECIAL NOTE: If you're into the C6.R racers, after you watch the above linked video, look on the left side bar of the site for the "video" link. The page you will go to has 15 C6.R videos to watch!

190 MPH Blast in a Z06 Corvette Now here's something you don't see every day. What lunatic drove his Z06 on a public highway at 190mph? This MPH blast was achieved on a 3-mile long, Naval base runway. I wonder if the CO was there. It could have been his Z06!

To enjoy this Vette Video, CLICK HERE. PS - This video had over 1,081,390 views as of 12-26-07! Not sure which year Z06 it is.
