Illustrated Corvette Book Series

For several years I have been asked, “When are you going to make books out of the Illustrated Corvette Series?” Now that the Illustrated Corvette Series is into the C4 Corvettes, there’s nothing stopping me from moving forward with the books... except for the time needed to make it so.

Then it occurred to me that I could get e-book versions produced much quicker that paper books. So, here’s what’s in the works. By early Summer you will be able to download the Illustrated Corvette Series - C1, C2, and C3 e-books right off of this website for only $15 each, or all three e-books for only $40.

Here’s what’s included in each e-book:

Each e-book is in Adobe PDF format, so they are PC and Mac friendly. All you need is Adobe Acrobat Reader which is FREE from Adobe and is often included with web browsers.
Every installment of the Illustrated Corvette Series for each generation.
Additional commentary about each installment.
Full-size side-view profile art used for most installments.
Additional illustrations of Corvettes from each generation.
2-page color centerspread art from old issues of Vette Magazine.
Information about the other installments in the e-book series.
Information about the signed parchment paper prints.
Information about how to obtain an original commission of your favorite Corvette.
FREE e-book updates if and when new things are added to each e-book.
A 25% discount on the “paper” books when they are available.

Offering the Illustrated Corvette Series as e-books is the quickest way to make the book series available. Also, we didn’t want to wait until I was complete with the entire Illustrated Corvette Series, as I have at least another 5 to 6 years to go.

When the Illustrated Corvette Series e-books are available I will be sending out a special e-mail announcement to everyone on our mailing list. If you would like to be notified when they are available, click the mad-man below (that’s me) to initiate an e-mail request to be put on our mailing list.

After many suggestions, we have decided to produce a book series based on the monthly Illustrated Corvette Series in “Vette Magazine.” When the C5 Corvettes complete (sometime in 2006) there will be 5 books. But hopefully by the end of 2002 we will have at least the first of the series complete and available. The C2 and C3 series books should be available in early 2003

Here’s the complete series of books:
Illustrated Corvette Series: C1 Corvettes - 1953 to 1962
Illustrated Corvette Series: C2 Corvettes - 1963 to 1967
Illustrated Corvette Series: C3 Corvettes - 1968 to 1982
Illustrated Corvette Series: C4 Corvettes - 1984 to 1996
Illustrated Corvette Series: C5 Corvettes - 1997 to 2003

Each book will feature the following:
* A distinctive cover with the series layout and a montague of all of the cars from that generation
* All of the installments of the “Illustrated Corvette Series” for that generation
* A very comprehensive statistics box
* Additional line drawings from our files
* And whatever else we can come up with that we think you’ll enjoy.

Currently, Scott is completing the last of the C3 Corvettes and is about to move into the C4 cars. The C4 series will be the largest of all the Corvette generations, with at least 38 installments. This should take a little over 3-1/2 years to complete.
